Manufacturers are suing the U.S. for ending refunds of excise taxes winemakers had been getting. The lawsuit lists Diageo North America, Pernod Ricard USA and Sazerac Co. as companies affected by the regulation, and contends that domestic investments are being delayed because the rule hurts their ability to export American-made products.

Entrepreneurs who own stakes in private companies can donate some of their equity to Charity: water. The proceeds will eventually be paid out to the nonprofit’s employees.
